Louisburg, KS

Today we spent the afternoon exploring the best of Fall that Kansas has to offer.
Although we didn't see a ton of colorful leaves, it did not disappoint.
First we went to an Apple Cider Mill and donut factory.
They had a bluegrass band playing outside and the apple donuts were delicioso.
It just felt great to be outside in the gorgeous fall weather.
(admit..it was warm like summer but thats ok)

They also had a hayride and pumpkin patch for $8 a person.
Just down the road there was another pumpkin patch where everything (but the pumpkin) was free.

Same thrill for nothing? yes please!
We hunted for the perfect pumpkin with our little wagon

but then we realized you had to pay with cash or check, which we didn't bring.
So we really did get to play totally for free.
(I really hope our pumpkin found a nice home)

Beck tried to pick up every pumpkin we passed.
When it was too heavy he just patted it for a second and then moved on.

Although this looks like Beck is smiling,
he is actually mid-wiggle/whine to get down and run around.

Another fun family weekend enjoying our new city.
Its a happy fall here!
