Mark this day in history

...or at least in my family's scrapbook.  ;-)

Our little man got his first haircut today.

He didn't mind it, but he had this expression like
"What the heck is going on here?"

Once Daddy got him to giggle, he relaxed and started enjoying it

Although I think he looks absolutely adorable,
I may be mourning the loss of the shaggy baby hair just a little.

Before                                                                         After

On another note. We got home and saw this when we looked out the window.

the Sunset.
it gets me every time.
I know how cheesy this sounds,
but it always seems like a beautiful sunset
ever so gently,
just for me.
my baby is growing up, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Pink mountain time will always make me think of you, Leah! :) Beck is too dang cute. We really need to do something about Stella's mullett, but I just can't bring myself to make it happen!

there IS nothing you can do about it! and it stinks! haha. Man, the nights we are so frustrated waking up all the time wishing they'd grow up and then when they do we want nothing more than to take it back. Love his little haircut :) SO CUTE!

Since he got his hair cut he has seemed soo old! He is just a little man walking around our home eating our food and playing with our dog. No, he's much more then that! He's our little boy/man/son/chum! That was one of the greatest sunsets we've ever seen.

That has to be THE #1 most beautiful sunset I've ever seen - so breathtaking! And what a little doll your son is, taking his first haircut so bravely - he looks like he has a grat personality and just takes life in!

Wow. I didn't even think it looked like he needed a haircut. He looks great though. The sunset is magnificent!
